They hybrid diapering system is a cross between prefolds and covers and pocket diapers - you get to use the cover again and there's just an insert to put on top of the cover, instead of folding a prefold.
They hybrid system is popular with parents because the cover can be used again, so you're able to alternate between 2-3 covers a day and then you just change out the insert. That means you need less covers than you do inserts. And the inserts are extremely easy to use. Hybrid diapers are more cost effective then pocket or all-in-one diapers since the covers can be reused.
